BIO
Michael Ortiz has been in the makeup and cosmetics industry for 15 years, but discovered his love for makeup when he was a little boy. He started his “canvassing” with his mom and his sisters, and the neighborhood girls, who allowed him to practice his art.
Michael eventually studied at the Natural Motion Institute for a year, and also studied styling at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He began his freelancing career doing makeup for weddings, local fashion shows, photo shoots and events, and most recently, for a client who was featured on “Party Mammas”, one of Canada’s top rated reality shows. Among his clientele, are party planner and owner of Space Odyssey USA in New Jersey, Elvira Grau; Actress/Model, Shoshana Withers; Jewelry Designer/Artist, Athina Madera; and Jersey’s own Fashionistas, the Mari Twins. He is also currently working with Photographer, Neil Britto. For many years, Michael has also worked as a skin care consultant and makeup artist for Shiseido, Dior, Clarins, Chanel, Origins, and Elizabeth Arden. Out of his experience and hard work, TheMaynExperience™ was born….
TheMaynExperience™began with his dedication to making his clients feel pampered and look beautiful. Working with the client to accentuate their natural features, “ultimately creates a feeling of confidence that’s stem from the inside. If a woman feels great, she will be great.”
Michael’s ultimate goal is to create his own makeup and skincare line that will cater to all women.
